Dave O’Higgins – Saxophones

Dave O’Higgins is an internationally renowned saxophonist who will be delivering jazz of the very highest quality with a style that is simultaneously melodic, fluent and inventive. He is always interestingly informative with a great knack of understanding his audience and fellow musicians. Dave is a member of the Darius Brubeck Quartet which plays to sold-out houses at regional festivals and clubs around the UK and beyond. He has worked with some of the world’s finest musicians, including: Joey Calderazzo, Joe Locke, Eric Alexander, Joe Lovano, Phil Woods, Jimmy Smith, Nancy Wilson, Peggy Lee, Kurt Elling, Wayne Shorter, Eddie Gomez, Abdullah Ibrahim, Stephane Grappelli and Michel Legrand. To date he has released 25 CDs as leader. We very much welcome his return to Googlies.
