Last September we organised, at very short notice, a performance by a 7-piece band that consisted of the House Quartet plus some musicians who are well known to the band and our club members.  The performance was very well received and in response to requests we are putting on another performance with the same line-up.  Thanks to the generosity of Googlies member and pianist, Frank Brereton, we have a library of suitable arrangements for the Septet, which I am sure you will enjoy.  Appearing will be: Bill Yeomans – tenor sax, Ted Rockley – alto sax, Dave Wood – trumpet, Ollie King – trombone, Hilary Cameron – piano, Wally Shaw – bass and John Jarvis on drums.  All are looking forward to performing for you and delivering an evening of jazz with a difference.
