Born and raised in South Africa, Adam first appeared on the London scene in the mid-80s leading his own piano trio playing modern jazz and township standards from his homeland. This enabled Adam to develop a great knowledge of and love for jazz standards and Broadway shows. Since then, Adam has explored this repertoire on the chromatic harmonica and has now emerged as one of the UK’s leading jazz improvisers on this difficult and captivating instrument.
