Googlies is a London jazz club based in the lovely hamlet of Botany Bay in Enfield. The hamlet is situated on the Ridgeway which links West Enfield with the M25 at Potters Bar.
Just 5 minutes from junction 24 of the M25 we’re easy to find by car and there’s ample parking.
After leaving the M25 take the A1005 signposted Enfield. There is a speed camera when entering Botany Bay. After passing the Robin Hood pub, turn left into East Lodge Lane. After 50 yards, the entrance to Botany Bay Cricket Club is on the right. There’s ample parking and Googlies Jazz Club is in the pavilion.
Accessibility: From the car park, there is a paved path to the front door which gives wheelchair access. There is a disabled toilet facility with wheelchair access just inside the front door. The audience area and bar are all on the same level as the entrance, with no impediment to wheelchair use. Members of our audience sit at tables and we are happy for wheelchair users to remain in a wheelchair or transfer to a regular chair, in which case we have space to store the wheelchair until it is required.
The ULEZ Zone: Botany Bay Cricket Club lies outside the expanding London Ultra Low Emission Zone. To avoid the daily charge, members and visitors to the Club travelling from outside the London area can access the Club from Potters Bar and M25 junction 24 via A1005 or from Cuffley/Northaw via Cattlegate Road and East Lodge Lane. The Zone starts approximately 50 yards to the south of East Lodge Lane so please do not miss the junction.
