For more than thirty years, Liane Carroll has drawn crowds to Ronnie Scott’s in Soho, and we’ve been lucky to get more than our fair share of her. She remains the only performer to win both Best Vocalist and Best of Jazz at the BBC Jazz Awards in the same year, a feat from 2005 that nobody has matched since, and in 2008 she added Musician of the Year at the Parliamentary Jazz Awards.
