Art Themen has been a leading character on the British jazz scene for more than 50 years. He is a remarkably accomplished saxophonist, who performs with verve and originality and for 20 years he played in the Stan Tracey Quartet. Art has a warm sense of humour and the ability to bring out the best in his accompanying musicians.  These are some of the reasons that Art’s appearances are popular throughout the country (and beyond). He is an all time great of British jazz, a multi Award winner and he is a firm favourite at Googlies, where he always delights us with jazz of the highest quality.
