Vasilis began his music education, learning piano and clarinet at the age of ten in Athens, the town of his birth.  By 1999 he had graduated from Phillipos Nakas Conservatory and won a scholarship for the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. Following his graduation in 2001, he moved to England and, to the delight of British jazz enthusiasts, has settled here permanently.  Vasilis is a remarkably talented saxophonist who plays with such passion and composure that his performances are a delight to everyone lucky enough to be present. www.vasilisx.com
