The awards tell part of the story – two BBC Jazz Awards and Best Female Jazz Vocalist at the inaugural Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Awards – but you need to hear her live to understand why she’s earned them.
Over sixteen albums, she’s developed a sound that’s unmistakably hers. She’s shared stages with the cream of British and international jazz talent – Ian Shaw, John Etheridge, and Claire Martin among them.
